Focus Question: How did the author's experiences during the Holocaust change them as a person?
Throughout your reading you have witnessed many significant changes that the author goes through as a result of their experiences throughout the Holocaust. I encourage you to delve deeply into their character and focus on important aspects, such as: personality, morality, beliefs or values. Think back on all the changes they experienced emotionally, spiritually, and physically. How does that apply to their personality at the end of the memoir? How does it affect their beliefs or values? Are they the same person as they were before the Holocaust?
Your goal is to identify at least two major changes, and 'prove' using textual evidence and interpretation, how the author transforms by the end of his/her memoir. Please use TIQA as your tool for organization.
